April Wellness Classes at the Village Creek Country Inn
Regular Drop in for 60min: $20. Member Drop in: $17
Friday April 22
Yoga for Strength @ 9:30am 60min
This class includes a standing series and floor series. The standing series includes poses that help build strength and stability in the body. The floor series includes core strengthening, poses that improve flexibility and some relaxation. You will need a block & mat.
Strength, Balance & Mobility for Longevity @ 11am 60min
Improve your strength & balance & support your joint health with mobility exercises. You will also learn therapy ball techniques to decrease stiffness/soreness and increase range of motion. You will need a block, strap, mat & therapy balls (these can be rented if needed or bring 2 tennis balls).
Saturday April 23
Yoga for Strength & Core @ 9:30am 60min
This class includes a standing series and floor series. The standing series includes poses that help build strength and stability in the body. The floor series includes core strengthening, poses that improve flexibility and some relaxation. You will need a block & mat.
Stress Relief Class @ 11am 60min
This class will include some relaxing yin poses, restorative poses and a short guided meditation with sound bowls to relax the body & mind. With chronic stress, by-products of it can stay in the body for several hours, even days. Only 3 weeks of constant "high stress" will re-write your entire baseline level of functioning, moving all functions in the body into the various states and stages of chronic stress. This is detrimental to our overall health and causes issues like adrenal fatigue, immune system suppression and brain fog. This is why it’s so important to ground and reset daily to move out of the multiple stress responses we can experience each day. And with the collective energy of the world right now, we need this more than ever. You will need 2 blankets, eye cover, mat and a bolster or pillow under your knees.

Mondays @7am: Manifest, Motivate & Meditate Session
4 Week Session: Wellness Members: Free. Regular Price: $20
This morning meditation starts the week off with connection and intention! Each week will be a different theme with positive energy to take into your week ahead.
Mondays @ 7:30pm: Yoga Nidra & Soundbath 30min
4 Week Session: Wellness Members: Free. Regular Price: $28
To enhance the experience of your sound it is good to have headphones/earbuds (but not necessary).
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that can help activate the relaxation response in your body and improve the functioning of your nervous system. It can also help decrease anxiety, improve your mood, help manage immune function, blood pressure, cortisol levels and induce restful sleep. After your nidra I will be playing some crystal singing bowls to take you deeper into relaxation.
You can do this class in bed or on a thick mat or blanket. You also need a blanket, eye cover and a bolster or pillow under your knees. If you have a weighted blanket that would also work well.
The soundbath portion is not to be done if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, cochlear implants/hearing aids, have epilepsy or have implants or plates/pins in the body. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Wednesdays @ 9:30am: Weights & Yoga 60min
4 Week Session: Wellness Member: $40. Regular: $48
Build bone density & lean body mass by adding weight training to your exercise regime. This class will include different weight training exercises and muscle groups each week. We will also use yoga poses that improve strength and balance and finish class with stretches for the areas that we worked.
Fridays @ 9:30am: Strength, Balance & Mobility Class 60min

Improve your strength & balance with yoga poses and body weight exercises. Improve joint health with mobility exercises and learn therapy ball exercises to decrease stiffness in the body and increase range of motion.
Saturdays @ 9am: Yoga for Strength & Core 60min

This fun and rejuvenating class is full of movement and core work to help you build overall strength. Class finishes with some stretching and relaxation.
