Yoga at Pigeon Lake

JANUARY 2025 CLASSES

(There are only 2 dates as I am heading away on holidays for the last 2 weeks of January!)
Please use the button below to confirm your attendance. I need at least 10 people registered. If you have already registered I have you written down so you are good to go and thank you so much!

Drop ins are so welcome too but it is good if you can let me know you are coming even the morning of class so I can let you know if something changes. The weather has been really unpredictable so classes are cancelled if the weather is not cooperating so we all stay safe.
Please note the time changes below. Classes are starting a little later.
Please bring your travel tea mug for tea after class!
Class rates: $20

10am: Yoga for Stability & Strength 75min
Join us for an energizing class that:
- uses current movement science to improve strength, stability and balance in the body
- includes organizing and activating the body which can also be applied to all other physical activities you do
- helps to develop healthy movement patterns to prevent overuse and underuse injuries
- creates optimal joint positions and improves balance, movement efficiency and healthy function over the long term
- helps you sensitize your nervous system to give it the information it needs to stabilize your joints, feel your body and access your full strength. When your nervous system knows you are stable and strong, it doesn’t have to hold a weaker area in tension to protect it and it can let go of chronic tightness and stiffness

What to bring: yoga mat, water, tennis/therapy ball, strap and 2 blocks. There will be extra yoga props and tennis balls on hand if needed.


11:30am Chair Yoga for Strength, Balance & Mobility 60min
Experience seated and standing yoga poses along with other exercises to help support activities of daily living and prevent falls by improving balance, strength, mobility and flexibility. All classes are beginner friendly and variations/modifications are given throughout class. 
What to bring: yoga mat, therapy/tennis ball, strap, block and water.
There will be extra props on hand if needed.

Winter Wonderland Wellness Day at Rig Hand Distillery

12:45-1:30pm: Intentional Holistic Nutrition Session for Stress Relief with Joanna from Rejoice Nutrition & Wellness
1:45-2:45pm: Mobility for Men Class with Janelle
