Yoga Posture Workshops
Sunday January 9 @ 10am-12pm

In this workshop you will learn:
- correct alignment for poses
- variations for poses so they suit your unique structure
- how to build more strength & stability in poses
- how to use your breath & expression in poses
- about containment and its importance in joint support
-how to learn to use poses to support your overall body systems
-about the benefits of each pose
Your structure (skeleton) governs your function (the way you move). Yoga is about using poses/positions to benefit you. It is not about trying to get your body into positions that don't support it!

Activating Your New Year! Aroma Yoga Workshop
Sunday January 16 @ 10am-12pm
Investment: $35 (without oils)
$50 (includes 7 oils in sample bottles you can use again)

The intention of Activating Aroma Yoga® is to cultivate the attributes of the earth, fire, and ether elements: physical grounding and energizing, mental clarity and spiritual connection. This class can dramatically improve symptoms such as lethargy, sadness, feeling scattered, stifled or stuck.

This class can help identify and clear thoughts and emotions holding us back. It can invigorate and help us take action in the direction of our dreams and desires. Essential oils penetrate the amygdala via the olfactory system - so they bypass the cognitive rational mind thereby helping to release and facilitate re-patterning of negative emotions.

We will be using the following therapeutic grade essential oils:
Frankincense
Northern Lights Black Spruce (alternative: any tree oil)
Peppermint (alternative: spearmint)
Lemon (alternative: citrus fresh or orange)
Copaiba (peppermint or spearmint)
Believe (alternative: frankincense, idaho balsam fir or spruce, bergamot)
Peace & Calming (orange or patchouli)

January 2022: Live Zoom Classes

Mondays @ 9:30am: Yoga for Beginners
5 Week Session: Members: $50. Non-members: $60
This class will breakdown poses and focus on alignment, breath awareness and containment in each posture. I will also teach you variations so you can use them if you are dealing with injuries or limited mobility.

Mondays @ 6pm: Yoga & Mindfulness for Pandemic Fatigue
5 Week Session: Members: $50. Non-members: $60
This class is themed weekly and includes gentle movement that can help clear out stress from your physical & emotional body. At the end of class, we will move into a short meditation and some guided relaxation to settle into deeper rest and healing.

Wednesdays @ 9:30am: Weights & Yoga 
4 Week Session: Members: $40. Non-members: $48
Build bone density & lean body mass by adding weight training to your exercise regime. This class will include different weight training exercises and muscle groups each week. We will also use yoga poses that improve strength and balance and finish class with stretches for the areas that we worked.

Fridays @ 9:30am: Strength, Balance & Mobility Class
4 Week Session: Members: $40. Non-members: $48
Improve your strength & balance with yoga poses and body weight exercises. Improve joint health with mobility exercises and learn therapy ball exercises to decrease stiffness in the body and increase range of motion.

Saturdays @ 9am: Yoga for Strength & Core
4 Week Session: Members: $40. Non-members: $48
This fun and rejuvenating class is full of movement and core work to help you build overall strength. Class finishes with some stretching and relaxation.

Sundays @ 6pm: Yin & Restorative Yoga
4 Week Session: Members: $40. Non-members: $48
This class supports you to move into deeper tension in the body with yin poses. The second half of the class is restorative yoga which is designed for complete relaxation and recovery by using props to fully support you in your poses.

Sundays @ 7pm: Sleep & Slumber Session
4 Week Session: Members: $20. Non-members: $24
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that can help activate the relaxation response in your body and improve the functioning of your nervous system. It can also help your body regenerate and repair, decrease anxiety, improve your mood, help manage immune function, blood pressure, cortisol levels and induce restful sleep.


The Wellness Membership: $40/month
This is an online studio of recorded classes. It is for those who like to choose their own style of classes along with class length & time of day. Even using this 6 or 7 times a month is a super deal!

Thank you for sharing Jo-Anna! It’s not easy to be vulnerable so thank you for sharing with an open heart with the hopes that it supports others.

In June 2019, my weight was a whopping 255lbs. Medical issues like Hypothyroidism, pre menopausal and medication changes added to the issue for years and if I'm being totally honest, poor eating habits as well. I was at my lowest- mentally, physically and spiritually.

Also, because of my occupations over the years with heavy lifting, swing shifts, always on my feet, driving heavy equipment and working out in the elements- my body was suffering with inflammation and pain due to osteoarthritis and spinal degeneration of neck and lower back. Then add the weight. I could barely get out of chairs when sitting, could barely roll over in bed, my feet hurt all the time and I had horrible joint and nerve pain. I felt I was sentenced to my house. I had no purpose, no self-esteem, no confidence, my world was a dark hole and eventually I had a complete nervous breakdown which ended with me being hospitalized.

Now some might say "You did it to yourself " and I will say "you’re right". It's not that I didn't want to lose weight and have the pain go away. My problem was I never put myself first. Everything for everyone else was way more important. OR I just can't afford it. OR I'll start next week OR!! OR!! OR!!

A friend of mine knew the struggles I was having because she had been in my shoes and cared. She strongly offered me a solution one day and dropped 4 products on my table and said take them and tell me how you feel in a month. Typical me said OK! OK!..and left them until the next day. So the next morning I took ACTION and I started. I had no more excuses, I just did it.

Now we are nearing the end of 2021 and I'm so happy to report I'm 178.2 lbs.. My pain is down 80% of what it used to be and I freaking participate in life. All because I finally thought I was worthy of finally taking care of myself!
