Monday June 10, 17 & 24
9am: Strength & Stretch Yoga
This class helps to improve strength in your body by activating fascia lines while in your yoga poses. It also helps to improve balance, core strength and mobility and finishes with some refreshing chilled lemongrass towels in savasana.
What to bring: yoga mat, water, block & strap
10:15am: Improving Strength, Balance & Mobility with Chair Yoga
Experience seated and standing yoga poses along with other exercises to help support activities of daily living by improving balance, strength, mobility and flexibility. All classes are beginner friendly and variations/modifications are given throughout class.
What to bring: yoga mat, therapy/tennis ball, strap, block and water. There will be extra props available to use if needed and I will have chairs for everyone! If you prefer to bring your own chair please let me know!
Saturday June 8, 15, 22 & 29
9am: Strength & Stretch Yoga
Same class description as above.
Details:
- Tea & shopping time available after classes!
- Class rate for all classes: $20 (includes GST).
- All classes are 60min.
- All classes are beginner friendly and variations/modifications are given throughout class.
- Drop in is available however it is suggested to touch base the morning of class in the case something changes. I also prep lemongrass towels for savasana so it is good to know how many to prep along with bringing enough chairs for chair yoga.
- Please bring a hat, sunglasses, sunblock and a tea mug.
