Hello lovely people! :)

I want to share my love of the liquid collagen that I have been taking now for over a year and a half with the hope that it can help support others. It will be something I take for my lifetime.

At the young age of 47, I have no sore joints (movement practices are also responsible for helping this!!) and my muscles recover quickly after heavy weight lifting. I have lots of hair regrowth (after chronic stress took a lot away) and healthy skin (especially my neck and around my eyes). For me, it’s always about how something is helping the function and health of my body. What can I give my body to support it better? And my body is extremely sensitive so when I find something that works, I listen!

There is a fall special on right now until September 1 where you receive $20 off of your first order of 2 bottles of collagen. If you have questions or want to access this special please send me a message.

Why is collagen so important in our bodies?

- Collagen is the most abundant protein in our bodies and is responsible for the growth and health of our bones, joints, skin elasticity, hair, nails and digestive tract.

- The production of Collagen by our bodies slows down around age 30.

- Collagen production not only declines with age but also due to exposure to factors such as smoking and UV light.

- Collagen can help heal wounds by attracting new skin cells to the wound site. It promotes healing and provides a platform for new tissue growth.

- There is NO plant based form of collagen, only plant based hyaluronic acid.

The Truth about Collagen

Collagen is a structural element of bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Collagen and skin are always talked about together because it’s a major component of your largest organ. But that’s just the start. Collagen is also found in:

• blood vessels

• cornea of the eye

• teeth

• cartilage

• discs between your vertebrae

• the digestive tract

The fibrous nature and strength of collagen holds everything together in the body and makes it an ideal protective casing for your organs.

The older you get, the less collagen you make. And what you do make is not as high-quality as the collagen of your youth. This impacts the appearance of skin, the maintenance of joint health and much more.

Your collagen/HA matrix can be resupplied with a patented liquid taken on a daily basis. Only 2 tbsp a day. The matrix includes not just the 3 types of collagen but chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid.

Trauma as Medicine Inspirational Talk & Workshop with Sarah Salter Kelly

In this workshop, Sarah will share inspirational stories and tools for addressing trauma garnished from her own personal experience and from years of teaching trauma focused workshops.

In her book, Trauma as Medicine, Sarah Salter-Kelly shares her experience of her mother’s kidnapping and brutal homicide as an inspiring example of how to distill trauma into medicine on a personal level. Chapter by chapter, she invites the reader to take their own journey of healing. Sarah’s story takes us beyond the realm of personal healing and into the collective, as she seeks to understand her mother’s murderer. This leads her to the First Nations reserve of his ancestors and real-life immersion in the history of colonization in Canada, systemic racism, and white privilege. Offering ceremonies, journaling, and exercises, Sarah leads you into the discomfort of your own suffering to be with it, determine for yourself what you need, and discover the tools to proceed towards wholeness.

Sarah will have her books with her for sale and will do book signings for anyone who would like a special message from her.

Coffee and tea service will be provided.

Sarah Salter Kelly is a talented writer, healer and speaker utilizing the raw compounded teachings of her life experience, to uplift, empower and guide others. Her wisdom is authentic, embodied and hard won – generated through years of integrating the tragic homicide of her mother and learning to forgive the perpetrator – alongside thirty years of studying personal growth, mysticism, restorative justice, and earth-based healing traditions. Over the past fourteen years she has run her own private healing practice facilitated retreats – both in Canada and in Peru – taught trauma focused and shamanic healing workshops, and presented at conferences and events.

This event will be held in the Tamarack Room at the Village Creek Country Inn. Please head to the lobby and ask the front desk staff where the meeting room is located.
