April: Free Live Zoom Classes for Members & Drop in for Non-members too!

With the most recent announcement, I don’t know when I will be running in person classes now. I will keep an eye out as to what comes next from AHS.
I realize that the current pandemic, with its isolation and social distancing, has caused individual and collective loss and stress. If this is something you have experienced, please know that I hear you, I feel you and that you are not alone.
I strongly believe that connection is needed for our emotional and physical well-being. And I have found that movement and mindfulness practices have been effective in reducing the stress of separation while opening our minds to other creative ways of supporting our need for connection.
It’s for this very reason I created The Wellness Membership. As a member, not only can you choose from a variety of recorded classes but starting in April, you can also attend LIVE zoom classes for free each week to connect and interact with a lovely, supportive and fun community!
Starting in April, the free classes for members are:
Friday @ 9:30am: Yoga Flow 30min (first class April 2)
Saturday @ 9am Yoga for Strength & Core 60min (first class April 3)
Wednesday @ 10am: Strength, Balance & Mobility for Longevity for Ages 50+ 60min (first class April 7)
If you have the Wellness Membership, these classes are free and you can find them on your main dashboard or head to the calendar to see all of the upcoming classes and register there!

About Janelle:
My love of practicing yoga started back in 2001. I practiced for a long time before a major life event pushed me to dive deep and I thought a teacher training would be perfect for the personal growth I was craving. It was challenging for me and it changed my life! I did not go to training with the intention of teaching and did not think I would actually teach but after doing some practice teaching regularly with a group of friends, I ended up seeing (and hearing!) how well they felt and the changes they were experiencing! That pushed me to start teaching on a regular basis. And I say push because even though I have been an extrovert in the past, I am also very introverted and am an empath so teaching in front of a group of people was initially very scary for me!
I started teaching in 2009. Yoga has a way of elevating my sense of well-being and is incredible for building overall strength, stability & mobility. Staying focused on breath and movement calms my body and mind. I love being able to access different practices depending on what it is I am needing each day. I have experienced burn out and yoga has been my saving grace in giving me tools to calm my nervous system down and bring my body back from chronic fatigue. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (most common form of hypothyroidism) back in 2000 and I am happy to say that today my doctor can not find any sign of it! I contribute that healing to yoga, eating the right foods and listening to my body each and every day. I continue to teach in the hopes that I can help others feel lifted, supported and cared for each time they step on to their mat. xo
