Give the Gift of Health & Self-Care

Gift Certificates

We offer gift certificates for all passes and for drop-ins.
Any punch passes bought can be shared.
We can customize a pass for you if needed.
You can buy any pass for someone else for the new year! This gives them access to 1, 2 or unlimited classes per week depending on which one you buy. They can commit to the same class every week or switch it up! Committing is sometimes the best motivator and it is only with consistency that we see changes.

We can also create gift certificates for the special events/day retreats we offer.

Vibrant Longevity: Quality within Quantity of Life
We are receiving feedback that our longevity classes are helping so much with mobility and joint health.

This is some of what we cover and work on in our longevity classes:

1. Tissue Tolerance: We can’t expect our bodies to go from not a lot of movement to high impact or to move into deeper movements without building strength and stability first. Also, if you have an area that is always tight and no amount of stretching is helping to relieve it, it may need strengthening over stretching. That tight feeling is your body protecting the area by increasing tension to support it.

2. Our joints are so connected! Some joints are meant to be stable and some mobile. The hip joints are meant to be mobile, knees are meant to be stable joints and ankles are meant to be mobile... but if hips get too tight, then they become stable and the knees become a mobile joint (which they are not meant to be because they are a hinge joint). This makes injury more likely in the knees as they try to compensate for the lack of movement in the hips.

3. Our joint capsules don’t have pain receptors so if we walk with our feet pointed out all the time for example, there is more wear and tear on the inner areas of the knees. Bones do have pain receptors so once they connect that is where the pain is felt but by then there has already been so much wear and tear on the knees. It’s important to practice walking with feet straight forward and if it is felt in the hips then that is where some opening is needed to support the balanced alignment of your joints so they last a lifetime! Keeping joints healthy means we keep moving and keep our independence.
