Our tailor-made Forest Yoga session was a truly enriching experience- thoughtfully designed to meet our individual needs while offering space for learning, relaxation, and deep wellness.
From the moment we arrived, Janelle welcomed us with genuine warmth and authenticity. Her passion for sharing her knowledge was evident in every part of the session, guiding us with care and intention through a personalized journey.
The depth of her practice allowed us to connect more fully with our bodies, gaining a deeper understanding of how to strengthen, heal, and truly listen to ourselves.
The session concluded with the soothing application of essential oils and a calming sound bath, leaving us feeling grounded, restored, and deeply nourished.

"We loved your passion for wellness and how you customized our yoga session for each one of us. It was a great addition to our girlβs getaway at the Village Creek Country Inn at Pigeon Lake".

I had a complete shoulder replacement. When I had a follow up assessment with my surgeon, he stated that whatever I am doing, I was to keep it up. I was able to obtain full use of my shoulder in less time and back to full strength. Practices with Janelle are fun and we are constantly motivated!

Living with pain is not what I want for my life. Re-learning to listen to my body and remember to properly breathe has made all the difference.
I am thankful for your classes!

Participating in your yoga classes has been an effective standard physical therapy for treating my chronic low back pain. I feel so much better and my joints feel more stable.
The education you have provided me regarding the how and why yoga is beneficial has been enormous.
I also have noticed much improvement in my joint flexibility.

A few years ago I found out I had osteoarthritis in my right knee. Over time it started bothering me more and more and I was told it was bone on bone. It got to the point that I could no longer get down to the floor and get up again. I suffered from this for a very long time. My doctor had another x-ray done and said it looked like I would need a knee replacement.
In October 2023, I got an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. He looked at my x-rays taken from different angles and we discussed my options. I didn't want a knee replacement and he agreed.
He gave me some things I could do to avoid a replacement and I started right away. One being some weight loss and the other to work on improving overall strength and most importantly, around my knee.
Around Easter of this year, I decided to start chair yoga with Janelle. It was tough at first but as time went on it got easier.
On July 9, I was able to get down on the yoga mat for the first time in years and I was also able to get up on my own! My knee has had pain free days as well! I have only missed a couple of classes so being consistent has paid off. This is a real milestone for me. I will continue to work on getting stronger overall, especially for my knee!
